It's very simple, burn more than you eat... if you can't do that, you can work out until your blue in the face and it will do nothing
1-2 pounds per week is the more optimistic goal people can achieve, that's considering 5 times a day for an hour and eating like a champ

come up with a workout schedule that you can actually stick to and for at least an hour.
