Do you have bad allergies?

Do you have allergies that kick your ass sometimes? I normally get them really bad in spring and then will be ok for the rest of the year, but now they've been kicking my ass for the last couple of weeks. I've never had allergy problems like this at this time of the year, i'm not sure what to make of it.

Yes :( Allergies have kicked my hypersensitive ass most of my life. Currently, my best friend is my daily Neti pot or else my sinuses are flooded with mucus. Hope you enjoyed that mental image. And lately, if I forget my allergy medicine, my eyes look so swollen and red when I wake up... it literally looks like I have Chagas disease and smoked pot.

Anyways, have you moved to a different place maybe? You can develop allergies at any time in your life, and they can get mysteriously better or worse due to factors you cannot see with your naked eye. Some years my allergies nearly disappeared, other years not so lucky. As a side note: my poor friend, she loves peanuts and one day in the middle of her college days, developed a peanut allergy. So sad :(

I have allergies, not like hay fever or anything. I have an allergy to strawberries and also to something else that we haven't discovered what it is yet :P Within like five minutes of eating/drinking anything with strawberries in, I get a huge rash all over my neck and chest and then my throat starts getting tight and I get hives. It sucks :(

I do. mostly season but also a few that are ongoing

they get bad in the spring and fall and when I spend a lot of time around pollens (flowers, cut grasses, etc)

I'm also allergic to dairy (although I can eat some) and dust/dander

oh man, you reminded me of a time when i was working around a bunch of flowers during the summer and my face blew up massively from the pollens and all that. i never had an allergy attack that severe like that before or since thankfully.

my allergies don't really result in hives, breakouts or swelling unless really REALLY bad... I just get crazy runny noses, sinuses congestion and headaches, sore throats, etc

My seasonal allergies to pollen can be pretty bad.

I take Nasacort and Claritin every single morning during the warm season.

Yes I have Allergies really bad in the Spring. I have to take pills for it.

that's the same thing i have, except now it's kicking up even at the end of winter and beginning of fall.

This time of year it could be dust or mold since people are turning on heaters, burning etc..

I have food and environmental allergies so it's always a balancing act year round.
