In need of allergy tips?

For 2 weeks my family will be dog sitting this huge, furry dog. Mostly, the dog sticks with me most. We already have another dog and a cat, so right now, there is fur everywhere. I have really bad allergies to pets. To a point where my stomach will feel so sh*tty, I will throw up and get hives everywhere. I haven't been able to breathe throughout the past 3 days of taking care of him. Does anyone have any idea of how to make these symptoms not as bad? Allergy pills aren't working at all.

1. Make sure you're taking an over the counter antihistamine such as allegra or zyrtec according to the directions.

2. Also take an overthe counter nasal decongestant such as sudafed to keep things from lingering in your nasal passages which could aggrevate allergies.

3. Keep your bedroom door closed off and make it a pet-free zone (none allowed).

4. Dust your room really well and vacuum very well.

5. If it's warm enough where you live, open or crack the windows to get fresh air inside.

6. Of, and I've found that homeopathic allergy eye drops (not visine) work best to soothe my eyes.

7. If your throat gets scratchy just make yourself a cup of hot tea.

I have severe allergies so I sympathize. Good luck!
