the gym is where everyone wants to spend their time to change their body but it is outside the gym that the most important battle takes place. Yours is a special situation but minor exercise should be fine if you adequately stick to a diet plan.
But remember this: don't compare yourself to actors on t. v. they are always designed to be shown in flattering positions. Anyone who is in a sitting position like you likely are will look like there is "flab" there. Whether you are thin or not when the body bends (like when you are sitting down) it folds over itself. If it didn't then we wouldn't be able to lean back without ripping open our stomachs. It is unfortunately incidental that since you are in a wheel chair you are often bent over a bit. Sometimes the right outfit can help this.
