Any suggestions on not just how to lose weight but also gain quite a bit of muscle?
I don't intend on just leaving it after I start getting busy again but I have a chance to start now and I want to use it well
Thanks in advance :-)
Well, there are a few key concepts to follow: 1) Adjust the food you eat, 2) Balance cardio and lifting, and 3) Be sure to have a well-rounded lifting routine.
You need to make sure that you're avoiding fatty foods, but still getting your protein. Try to infuse more vegetables and lean meats like chicken, and try to avoid excessive carbs (pasta for example) and fatty meats like beef. Also, avoid processed foods and artificially salty foods. Most importantly, don't overeat. Eat small meals regularly throughout the day, rather than a few large meals.
Balance weightlifting with cardio. Losing weight is best achieved by doing both. Swimming, biking, and running are all good ways to burn calories. Try longer distances at slower paces rather than short sprints. When you're lifting, lower weights with more reps will tone. If you want bulk, try higher weights with fewer reps. For overall fitness, be sure to work your legs and abs as well as your "bulk muscles" (biceps, triceps, lats).
Lastly, there is still some confusion among experts about whether drinking a lot of water is beneficial or not. It's best to keep hydrated during the day, and water can help fill you up to curb your appetite, but it can sometimes throw off your body's natural salt balance. I recommend at least 5-6 full glasses of water per day.
Abs, and arms.
And do your best to turn your self into a sex machine
Oh don't worry. That's what I'm aiming to do ;)
The best way to lose fat is by running; period. Running is the best way to lose fat and gain some endurance. Lift weights to gain muscle. I'm not just saying this, I know from experience. That's how I lost 15 lbs by running every day for 2 months. It sucks at the beginning but once you get into a routine your body will thank you and you'll feel great!

Gym?
Well that would be an option but I have weights and stuff at home because my brother works out quite a bit.
So I think it would kinda be a waste of money
