Why are some people late-bloomers? What can somebody do such as myself to help this?

So long story short I'm a late bloomer, I turned 20 about a couple of months ago yet look 16, really irritating when most of the people I go to college with some even younger than me look much much older, I stick out like a sore thumb which is effecting me a hell lot more than it should, being 5ft 6 isn't helping either.

Anything I can do?

do you have any scruff? facial hair always helps but not all guys can pull it off because it looks patchy.

Some guys can fix this by shaving even when there is nothing to shave (promotes growth). as i understand, better to use lesser quality razors for this (straight blade would be best)

Dont quote me though. this worked for me and im not sure it will for everyone

I do have a bit of scruff around my chin area, It's a lot better along my left side though doesn't meet my sideburn hair, my right side the gap is much larger, small area under my chin also rather barren.

I'll keep it in mind, I'll try have a crack at shaving again regularly tomorrow, cheers!
