Some people where never taught to chew with their mouths closed. Just express that is bothers you. Sometimes I do it, but it is because I have a malformation where my nerve paths are switched in parts of my face. So I blink one of my eyes while chewing. Sometimes I have spasms in my jaw and I bite my lip open. It really sucks. So not everyone does it on purpose.

But it my father, I usually hid from him when he eats or if I'm unlikely to have to eat dinner a the table I scarf down food. It horrible, I sometimes get to a point where I'm sometimes scared of my own hatred of nom nom. This no joke.
