Should I Be Fooled By a Senior?

OK well I have this friend who is a senior and will graduate this year.. he's asked me to prom too (: I wouldn't call him a player or anything but he's kind of conceited, likes girls, plays a sport... overall jock really. And I'm a sophomore! he claims to have liked me since freshman year. He's going off to college at the end of the school year most likely far away from town. We've discussed the future and meeting back up and being together in the future..but I don't know if I should believe that he's actually going to save a space in his heart for me until I graduate or if he's just telling me this to get what he wants now. Please help me!

If he doesn't have time for you now, then he's just yanking your chain. Think about if you where in his place. If you really liked someone that much, for that long of a period, you would be more than happy to pursue an actual relationship (long distance or not...you would be able to see each other when he visits his family, if nothing else). Don't let him take advantage of the understanding girl you obviously are.

You shouldnt be a fool for anyone. It seems like on some level you know he's full of it. I agree it sounds like he is. If he doesn't have time and a space in his heart for you now then he won't when you graduate. Sounds like he's just running game
