Football coach sexist or nah?

Basically I play flag football for my city (rep) and I wanted to try out for my schools team the coach said there's no team for the girls I told him thats fine I can play tackle too. He asked me "Do you know what tackle is" Im like bruh i know I've played tackle as well. He asked what position I play and I play running back i told him and he said to come to the try outs and WATCH i said hell nah imma play... He told me that there's gon be 300 lbs guys out there trying to knock you out but I told him ill knock them out before that happens... Is he sexist jus cuz im a 15 year old 100 pound 5'2 girl

He doesn't want to get sued and fired when you die... There is no legal technique that is going to get you to drop a dude 100lb bigger than you. You will get destroyed. And playing as HB the person that gets tackled basically the most is not going to happen.

Chances are you wouldn't be good enough for the team, because if you were a guy of your size, you wouldn't make it either.

He'd probably say the same to a guy who was 100 Ibs and 5'2". It's not that you're a girl, it's that you're kinda tiny. If he lets you go ahead and try though if you really want to, just be careful.

i played for 3 years at wr, safety and tight end and i was 6'1 170/180 at the time and got rocked my fair share. but hey, full power to ya fam. i'm not gonna stop ya.

it's not sexist when there's dude's literally 100lbs+ trying to smash you. plus, you have to think about shit like the fact that you'd be really limited. like, you probably be more of a scat back and that's about it. stuff like blitz pickup would be hard for you to do.
