Like a week off sure. You shouldn't lose any progress. Maybe just lower the intensity a little that way you're not trying to push yourself to be more fit that way working out won't seem as daunting. But do enough so you also won't lose any of the progress you have.
Maybe reevaluate why you are working out and see if you can find a greater motivation than the one you have that is staring to wane.

Yes.. 7-8 days isn't a break that is just being lazy. I would hate to be away from the gym for that long.
Yes, it is. When I got a new job I stopped going as much, & now I'm fat & ugly & paying the price.
I did because eh i am not feeling it! But don't you dare do it!

No, you should do that, actually. Most long-term periodization programs include extended rest periods. My body would collapse if I didn't take rests.
Nah, I call them rest days. In the last 4yrs, I've never took more than 3days off.
I can't go all the time rigorously because the motivation does go away sometimes. We all need a break
If I'd go to the gym 3 times a week and getting bored, I'll start going 2 times and see how that's working out
Yes because you have an amazing body and you'll lose it if you stop working out
Sadly I put on over 30 pounds in the past year, I haven't been working out as much, I feel the lack of a girlfriend and not getting laid has drained my motivation
I'm doing the same exact thing right now.
