Girls, I'm curious to learn about typical pregnancy symptoms - any that occur anywhere over the 9 months?

It's been quite a long time since I've last asked a question to learn about "girls' business"... but realized I've never asked anything about this subject.

Just curious to learn how a girl feels different during pregnancy. From "strange hungers" over hormonal trouble to back problems, swollen feet, getting tired easily,... just anything you like to explain me :D

Of course stories about relatives who were pregnant, also by guys, are welcome as well!

The first trimester (up to 12 weeks) is when morning sickness is most present. Everything is smell-sensitive. The girl will be fine one minute, and then need to vomit the moment the smell of onions hits her nose. She will also feel very tired around this time. Her body is working hard.

I have a pregnant friend right now, and in her second trimester she became very hormonal. It's almost comical (she even laughs about it, bless her heart). She told me one time, she accidentally dropped the TV remote on the floor and immediately burst into hysterical tears. A few hours later, after she'd calmed down, she suddenly began crying again because she was "reliving it."

My friend also admits to suffering from "pregnancy brain." She's become very forgetful, to the point of forgetting her name once while on the phone with the bank.

Anyway, food cravings are also very common. Salty cravings such as pickles and sauerkraut are most infamous. But expecting mothers can crave anything, from candy bars to steak to beer (which, unfortunately, they can't have lol). And make no mistake - when they crave something, it is NOT optional. They need to have it ASAP. My friend who craved beer while pregnant got past it by simply sticking her tongue in it, but not drinking it.

And other stuff happens which I'm not too familiar with. Tiredness, increased or decreased libido, back pain, swollen feet, etc. There are so many body changes that happen when a baby is being made. And every woman is different with what she experiences.

I knew my roommate was pregnant when one time we were in her room changing and her nipples were extremely darker than ever before. Her line on her stomach had gotten darker. That day I told her to get a pregnancy test and it was negative. But the next week she tried again and it was positive. Oh and she cried... A lot. Like at movies, commercials, food. I've never been pregnant but I just know when someone's pregnant. Oh let's see, another one was the excessive hair growth... Everywhere.

Interesting - some more symptoms I was not familiar with!
And indeed, I heard more than once that in the first 2 weeks of pregnancy a test can be negative since your body takes its time to start producing hormones.

Yeah! It is truly amazing how every pregnancy is different, and even the same woman can have multiple types of pregnancies.
