I started birth control January 4th, im on my 2nd pack of pills now. last Monday i took my pill 4 hours late. that was the first time I've taken it late. later that day, when i went pee there was the slightest amount of blood when i wiped. i figured taking the pill late caused some spotting or breakthrough bleeding. a couple days later (february 17th) i didn't notice any blood. so my boyfriend and i had sex that night. afterwards he went to the bathroom and there was blood all over him. (sooo embarassing) the bleeding had started again. but it was no longer spotting. it felt like my period. my period wasn't supposed to come till the 19th. its now the 23rd and im still bleeding! but so far today the flow seems much lighter. im a little concerned, should i call my doctor or is this normal side effects of the pill? i just wish this bleeding would stop. i have 6 of the sugar pills left until i start my 3rd pack of pills.
