I consider sleep a very important part of my day. I know people who sleep 6-7 hours a day and still manage to function properly and be happy. For me it's not that simple. The problem is not the lack of sleep exclusively, I also have problems when i sleep too much. My ideal sleep time is around 9 hours. When I sleep 8 hours or less I tend to avoid people, be negative, hell, even my self-esteem goes down. And when I sleep 10 hours or more (which happens when I don't set the alarm clock), I'm very sleepy all day and can't be productive. I wonder if there are more people who have this problem? So, simple question, how does the amount (and quality) of sleep you get influence your day?
