you can perform HIIT at home. if you wanna burn calories doing body weight workouts at home, you need to get your heart rate up to where it should be for your body/age/etc. so if you can't run, superset everything, if you're sweating and your muscles are burning then it's working.
burpees, squats, (forgot what its called) running in place lunges, push ups, crunches, more burpees, jumping jacks, leg raises, mountain climbers, more burpees, high knees, diamond push ups, and many more workouts that I don't know the name of, i only know how to do them.
you can do this in your room with a decent amount of space.
