Fitness people of GAG: how much does eating regulary have to say when it comes to fat reducing?

So Im currently trying to reduce my body fat precentage (I think im about 20-25, closer to 20) and I have tried doing that by eating cleaner, doing heavier weights and HIIT. Im already quite fit (better shape than most people that i know), but especially my stomach fat is covering the abs i have been working hard to get. When i flex my abs its really hard, but like i said, the fat is covering it.

My biggest challenge right now is eating regulary and enough. I have a tendency to eat quite little, but ofen, during the day just to come home from my work out and eat one or two quit big poitions of dinner. Which i know its not good for my metabolism. Its not what i eat that, its more how i eat it.

Im worried that my eating habits will make it even harder for me to lose the fat and gain muscles for that matter, how much does the amout of times you eat play into the fat burning process? And anyone got advice on how to eat clean on a very low budget?

by the way im eating very healthy and I exercise 4-5 times a week, so thats not the problem
