For animal products, you should start by paying a visit to the vegan/vegetarian aisle of your local grocery store. Most grocery stores have an aisle for normal everyday food items turned vegan. They usually have things like tofu, meatless deli meat (these are pretty hit or miss imho. Some taste alright, others taste like how dog food smells), vegan hot dogs and even vegan cheese. Same thing with milk - you can easily substitute cow's milk with tons of different alternatives, such as coconut, almond and cashew milk (my personal favorite) . Just pick up a jug of that and try it out. If you don't like that particular kind, try another. Keep looking until you find one you like.
And as for sugar - just opt for sugar-free products. Diabetes is on the rise, so lots of things are sugar-free nowadays.

Simply raise your intake of plants. Find fruits and vegetables that you do like, learn about different ways to prepare them, and just eat more of them.
Drinking smoothies has been super helpful to me, because I actually hate salads and greens, but drinking smoothies is a really easy way to sneak in some spinach without really tasting it.
If you really despise veggies that much, eat them cooked and add whatever seasonings and sauces required for them to taste good.
Then gradually start cutting back on the seasoning and sauce. Veggies taste very refreshing and your body will feel good when u eat them, once u get adjusted to the taste.
ages ago I didn't like vegetables but since my parents are vegan I just stomached it down it was horrible but now I'm used to it and like vegetables.

I've gone vegetarian and low glucose, vegetarian to support my mom and low glucose because my sister has diabetes. Honestly, I recommend cold turkey. Do your research, find some good recipes and snacks. Throw away (or give away) all of the foods that you shouldn't be eating. Then do it. Trying to wean yourself will be a never ending process. It'll be hard the first week or so, then you adjust.
I hated lettuce and tomatoes and mushrooms till my mom basically force fed them to me so i wouldn't grow up to be a picky eater now i love lettuce onions mushrooms all kinds of vegetables even tomatoes. if you want to eat healthy and you dont like the taste you need to accustom to it. Force your self to eat more greens and eventually you will grow used to eating them.

A low carb diet is a healthy option. It increases your meat intake but your cholesterol and triglyceride levels will probably be reduced on that diet.
I would say just eat unprocessed foods. maybe whole grain foods. And when I say whole grain I don't mean whole grain bread I mean wheet, corn, oats and rice.
Try eating cheese, veggies and toast.
You will get sick from the smell of meat after a week.
(At least this is what happened to me.)cutting out red meat is prolly the easiest way.
reducing sugar you can start w/ no sodas/juicesFor me, I slowly cut off myself off of meat. I stopped eating beef first, then pork. now I've stopped eating chicken as well and only eat fish.
It's a gradual processi think the best thing that gets you into it, is researching and planning recipes and actually preparing them yourself.
Your best option is to eat unprocessed meats and cut out sugar entirely. Otherwise you are setting yourself up for a host of "diseases of civilization" when you are older.
