The myth is that abs are built doing tons of crunches, but what most don't realize is it takes SERIOUS dedication to your diet first and foremost, and then to getting in good solid workouts that have nothing to do with 'I spent an hour in the gym and therefore I should have a good body.' It doesn't matter about the quantity if the quality is not there.
If you haven't already, ditch the soda, the beer if you've been drinking it, the Starbucks, the commercial juices (high in sugar, keeps fat on) and stick to eating a brown diet (no white foods, stick to whole grains), fresh fruit and veg, drinking tons of water. As far as your exercise, stop obsessively working on abs. They are such a small muscle. In order to see that fat layer shed you need to be working ALL 12 of the muscles of the torso...
... yes, and then... are you getting 8 hours of sleep, are you avoiding bad habits like smoking/drinking, are you finding ways to keep your stress levels down (lack of sleep, a stress on the body, and stress can keep fat on you). Did I also mention you need cardio, and other weight work to work out the rest of your body b/c you can't spot train, and you need to make sure you are taking rest days every so often to give your body time to recover between instense workouts.
Yeah, those serious about getting abs when they hear all this get real quiet becuase they ignore 80% of it and expect to get results. Anyone with a true six pack has put in the work, eats that clean diet, and even after they get the abs, you can't slack, you have to keep up the work and the diet to maintain it.

Don't eat garbage. Your workouts don't mean shit if you eat junk.
you can't target fat loss. despite what the media tells you, you lose body fat at the same rate all over the body.
the only way for your abs to show is to get your body fat % lower so carry on working out but focus on core strength to improve ab definition. Although the odd treat is ok, eat healthy and cut out crap like burgers and sausages etc.
Chill with the emojis homie. Eat a caloric deficit and workout hard. Work on abs every other day.
