How frowned upon is it to have part of a finger missing? How would you feel if you had part of a finger missing?

Is it a huge deal? Does it make someone way less attractive? I'm saying seriously, I would expect a lot of young people today, so many of them so shallow, to be incredibly disturbed by this maybe even disgusted.

I mean there are different degrees, like Walter Emmanuel Jones who was one of the first ever Power Rangers has one whole finger missing, then you've got Daryl Hannah who has a meet me half way kinda' deal, and then Matthew Perry just has the tip missing. Actually when I think on it, there are so many famous people that had part of a finger missing alone, Christian Bale, Vince Vaughn, Boris Yeltsin, Jesse Woodson James, James Doohan, Telly Savalas, Buster Keaton.. so there's probably a hech of a lot of people in the world with part of a finger missing anyway.

I expect it would be quite annoying though. Well all of the above have a decent story though like WWII, playing with a grenade, dirtbiking, car accident, freak accident with a rope pully. But if it happens to me it's gonna' be infected cuticles or whatever the flip you call it, all enflamed around the nail, and the nail getting all nasty like. So that'd be kind of irritating I think, to lose it and for such a chicken$hit stupid little thing like that. I'd be embarrassed to tell people the truth about how it happened, and then I'd probably end up making up some bull$hit story.

It's not that big a deal though is it? You don't really need it, and on the bright side it would stop hurting if I got it amputated so that'd be cool.
