Squats without muscle. Is it possible?

I did squats for a while until I was told that my legs would look huge if I kept going. All I want is to tighten my legs, butt and abs but I don't want to get ripped. I already have naturally muscular legs but they are also flaby. Also, I don't have a lot of time to exercice so doing several reps of squats a day was perfect for me. Is it ok to keep doing it? Will my legs look bigger?
Also, once a week I climb 1001 stairs (walking of course).
