I SERIOUSLY doubt that hypertension, or even the usual meds would cause any kind of serious mood swings. Some have had issues with Lisinopril, but most report suicidal, or depressive tendencies!!
He's got other issues, and using the meds to make excuses. I have some inherited family High Blood pressure issues, and I'm a bigger guy, which makes it worse.
He's probably got some psychological issues, and should see a therapist. I've been on three different types of blood pressure pills over the last ten years, and none, even the Lisinopril, has ever made me angry, aggressive, or act like an a$$!!
Don't beleive the 'excuse'!! He needs to see a therapist about the suppressed rage issues he obviously has!! Maybe he is bipolar, or whatever, but he needs professional help!! It isn't you or anything you have done, or didn't do!!!

When they say it has no symptoms, tbeyean it has no symptoms that are directly related to hypertension. I other words, if you have a constant thirst, you're losing weight, you crave sheets, and you pee constantly, odds are you have diabetes. With hypertension, you might have no symptoms, or you might feel dizzy at times, or feel that your chest is tight, or have behavioral changes, but there's nothing that would make anyone say, "Oh, you have hypertension." The only way to diagnose it is with a sphygmomanometer.
