The best thing to do is stick to your regular schedule. This is just a one time only thing, not chronic insomnia. With chronic insomnia there are some things that help a little. But with something like this it's better to stay on your regular schedule and let it work itself out.
The only easy thing I know that might work short term is to lay in bed until you feel like you are on the verge on sleep. Then pull on an extra blanket. That's assuming it doesn't get you warm to the point of being uncomfortable.
Also make sure it's completely dark. (assuming you normally sleep at night). Even a small amount of light can throw you off.
