Will I get taller than my mom?

Hey guys, I just turned 17 and I'm born year 2000.
I'm only 5'3 while my mom is 5'5 and my dad is 5'7. And I'm so SAD that both of my parents are taller than me! I want to look normal not like a midget

The doctor said that I haven't stopped growing because the growth plates closes around age 19-20. But the doctor said that I will grow just a little bit more.

MY QUESTION IS; Do you guys think it is possible that I can grow taller than my mom or maybe at the same height as her? How many inches do you think for sure that I will grow?

It's certainly possible that you'll get taller than one or both of your parents. I'm taller than my mom by a couple of inches and just an inch or two shorter than my dad.

It's impossible for anyone, even a medical professional, to guess how much you'll grow. Seeing as how you're 17 and past your main growth spurt, you might grow a cm or two. You might also not grow any more at all.

Do not worry about being 5' 3. It is 2" taller than me. I doubt there is any real visible difference between you and your mum.

Almost impossible to say how much more you will grow. Some people, like my bruv, put on a couple of inches in two years. I grew about 1" from 15 to 22.

My mom is 5' and my dad is 5'5" and I'm the tallest in my family. I'm 5'7.5". There's a possibility that you'll grow. Don't worry!

Take your father's deviation from his male population as a percentage positive or negative. Take your mother's deviation from her female population similarly, and average the two. Now get the average female height of both populations and add or subtract the deviation you calculated. That's your most likely height.

5 3 is a real nice height. You will most likely be around the same height as your mother. Nothing to worry about!
