Whenever my girlfriend is on her period, I make sure she tells me by using the code phrase, "it's party time". This let's me know that for the coming weekend, I can plan on going out doing something fun with her, cook her dinner and then cuddle for hours while I sing slow country music to her and she talks about her week. Most of this is done while I'm shirtless because I know she likes to stare at my athletic built body.
Yes. I can usually tell when it starts because she sits on the couch in a particular slouchy way. I bring her a glass of wine and massage her lower abdomen right where the cramps are. She appreciates it.
Her mood swings seem mild. A reassuring hug seems to be enough.
Advil and heating pads for cramps. As for mood swings, I try to avoid people as much as possible since they're the ones who cause the mood swings, but if I can't, I just think of kittens and smile through the swing until I can get to a private spot to have a small breakdown.
