Really there is not much you can do to make them look better. Once you have a cavity you can't make it go away it will only get bigger until it eats the entire tooth. You may want to get a second opinion and tell the dentist that you can't afford the expensive stuff like crowns, there are usually several different options in getting your teeth fixed so ask for all the options. Also don't go to a cosmetic dentist they usually charge more and tend to go a more expensive route. Ask around if anyone knows a conservative dentist but even then with 19 cavities it will be at least a few thousand dollars. I don't know how much you make but there are usually free clinics if you qualify. And don't listen to these idiots brushing your teeth 3 times a day is great but again it will not make cavities go away. Do you drink a lot of sugar stuff like soda, juice, or sweet tea? That is usually the biggest culprit in causing so many cavities. So if you do you many want to start trying to cut back so you can at least slow the progression of the cavities.

Heh, and the Americans say us English have bad teeth because of *our* health system...
I don't think this is something that can be fixed with a few home remedies. Have you seen a dentist about it? (S)he might give you some ways of making it better without spending too much.
I never brush my teeth. 'Cos of my illness I have to eat way more sugar than most people. And man. I've perfect f***ing teeth. There's a few holes but that's from how they grew, not from sugar, and they're at the back, you'd never see that.
Its just natural sh*t. Its a horrible system. I don't know what you could do though. I hope someone here can help you ^_^

I think you take care of your teeth way too much because brushing 3 times a day probably weaken your teeth's enamel and that's why you have holes. I suggest you to brush max 2 times a day and after almost every meal wash mouth with just water or sometimes antibacterial liquid.
19 cavities? There's no way to stop that. Your teeth are going to rot which can lead to other health complications and you're going to be experiencing root sensitivity soon though if you don't get them fixed.
Only a dentist can help you. No home remedies exist to cure cavities, holes or missing teeth.
I brush once a day, if I remember. Never had a cavity or anything bad.
