nothing wrong with eating those kind of things but in moderation only!
I sometimes eat lots of stuff like that but as a substitute, If I eat lots of rubbish in one day, I'll make sure I do some exercise as well. I exercise quite a lot anyway and try to keep my weight to a healthy limit.
What you have to remember also is that eating stuff like this all the time isn't only going to cause you to become fat, it's just unhealthy too. So even if you eat all this rubbish day in day out and exercise a lot, you could still be fairly slim but unhealthy because of all the crap you are putting in your body.
If you just get into the habit of eating proper meals and don't constantly snack on rubbish you will realize how much better you feel. proper food will not cause you to crave more more more more 20mins later, where as snacks do. It's very hard to open a pack of biscuits and just have one because as soon as you've finished one, your body is screaming at you and demanding more :P
My best tip would be to not buy things like that, so that they aren't around the house. That way you are limiting the availability.

in my view, you probably do like a lot those things, but maybe you are using it as a distraction from other things... maybe you're not even aware of what's inside you that you're running away from, but possibly all those chocolates etc are a distraction from an internal discomfort you are not able to stay with...so you need to learn first to stay with that pain or whatever it is, discover what it is, work on it etc. try to redirect for the moment to kind of a new, but more contructive, addiction, which still helps you cope with the pain, yet does not make you fat. I started eating carrots and fruits when I was giving up smoking, it wasn't all I did, but among the things I did. I also started drinking lots of coffee though!
Everything in moderation. Completely refraining from eating that stuff is only going to make you want it even more. Instead reward yourself with those foods. Eat healthy six days a week, and then allow yourself to have something good on the seventh (or you can be like me and eat one of those things once a day). It's like as soon as something is banned, it is all you can think about. One piece of cake is not going to make you fat, eating the whole cake will. This is why deprivation diets don't work. You cut something out of your diet entirely, then once you break down and binge on all the bad stuff, you feel like a failure and give up on it...or something along those lines.
We are biologically designed to crave sweet and salty foods. That's why we tend to crave cake or chips over salad. Allowing yourself to consume these foods in moderation will help you stay skinny for longer than if you just cut them out of your diet entirely.
Well it depends on how you motivate yourself. For me, I like challenges, so usually I wanna see how long I last without drinking pop, eating fast food, etc. And every time I break that fast, I do it again, to see if I can last longer .ahaha It's more of a competition against myself.
By thinking that by not eating these foods, I am doing my body a huge favor in the long run, and something I can feel proud of doing once I stop it for good :)

chew lots and lots of gum
eat food high in fiber
eat protein in the morning (google appropriate amounts for girls)
make yourself a large fruit salad and eat portions when you get hungry
that should help. My friend is a nutritionist and he says he gets positive results when he has people write down what they eat everyday...forces you to pay attention
Honestly I think it's because they start writing down AFTER he puts them on a diet plan, but he argues otherwise. He's the expert I guessI love chewing gum. Also for ice cream there is this brand called Artic Zero, it is amazingly low calorie for ice cream.
get post-its and label every sugary thing in your kitchen with the label "SUGAR"
its OK to be fat if you have a really pretty face. you can get away with being fat if you're REALLY pretty.
