Caffeine works as a short term solution, but you'll crash as soon as it wears off. High carb foods (cereal, pancakes, pasta, and other grain products) combine with caffeine works well, but don't eat a lot at once, snacking all night is more effective. If you feel yourself getting tired get up and move around for a while. Keep your mind active too. Don't take a break from your studying unless it's to do something physically active. You can also take some aspirin or tylenol or whatever to prevent fatigue headaches. But most of all, the art of the all-nighter is about will power.

Caffeine... however... I'd avoid the idea. Studies show that you will remember information in the manner that you learned it. So unless you're allowed to have caffeinated drinks and be wide awake during the exam... you'll have a very difficult time recalling the information your learned. Its not something you want to do at a last minute so I'm hoping that your exam isn't tomorrow... if it is... God bless your heart... and don't procrastinate, lol. Take bits and pieces of each day and learn a little bit here and there, it will be easier than cramming it all at once.
do push ups or sit ups, something of that nature for a good minute every 25 minutes or so..it'll give your brain some blood, not to mention a nice small break from studying
Red Bull works really well but don't overdo it! I heard of someone who had too much red bull then slept through their exam, yikes!
