How can I get respect?

Well we've already did the deed and I wound up pregnant. The guy lives out of state not far tho. We were trying to be friends but he does call or text regularly. He also has stopped talking to me all together a couple of times. I've seemed to turn into the booty call when he sees fit. I told him I just wanted to be friends that I wasn't going to keep doing this". Now I know I've came off easy but it was ONLY BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED HIM. now I have to stop this its only happened a few times but I think that's all he wants seeing as he's not taking the time to get to know me. I feel like a total idiot that I'm having a child with a stranger.that doesn't respect me. What do I do? He makes so hard for me to say no. do I fight it or lay it down on him a get dressed and leave?

Tell him to man up and stop giving him sex. That is not helping this situation. He is going to be a daddy and needs to man up and take some responsibility. You need to tell him this. When he avoids you and stops talking to you its because he is a coward. Really this guy needs to realize that sooner or later he is going to have to support this child he helped create. It's not just on you. What I would do is just try to stay strong and not talk to him as much. Just let him know that this is how things are going to be. And he is either going to step up and make this whole process easy or you will make sure you go to all the proper places to get what you need from him, like child support payments.

Whatever you do, do not hook up with him anymore. It's only demeaning to you because he is getting what he wants without having to take any responsibility for his behaviour.

First and foremost, STOP sleeping with him. You're giving this jerk exactly what he wants and he's not deserving of it. Second of all, you can't make him call you or respect you, especially if you're not acting in ways that say you respect yourself. But you can make this guy pay up when the baby comes. He has a responsibility to this baby he helped create, and a guy like him will try to get out of it if you don't take legal action to ensure it. Protect yourself, respect yourself, and good luck!

Ive told myself that. I'm not gonna ride this yo yo with him. I really need to stop taking what little he's giving and let him how I feel and its getting easy considering his actions. but he knows how to push my buttons and I melt. But I refuse to again.

Cut him off of sex, he needs to start being a father. Until then, you need to quit liking him. He's demeaning you and taking advantage of you, that shouldn't cause you to like him. You need to figure out exactly what he does that makes it hard to say no, and then learn defenses to use against him so you can say no. You need to tell him its time to be a father and not the jerk he is right now.

I think b.c it been so long and it was so good I was wanting it just as much therefore it was hard to say no. now I'm wanting to get to know him and he can't keep his hands off me. I don't have to have it but he makes me weak. I just feel like I crossed a line that can't be uncrossed. He is a jerk and at times I've told him I didn't want him I just want you to take care of your child.
