Extremely frustrated.

Alright, going to keep this short for you all. So my ex ripped my heart out of my chest a few months back. Along with the head games and lies etc...you know all that good break-up stuff. Then 6 weeks later got into a relationship with this "low quality" girl. This woman buys him trips, computers, etc. It's sicking!

He just walks around like he is a god or something. What I am frustrated at is that he really hurt me and he acts like we never dated the past year. I was with him through some dark times in his life. (Unemployment, legal sh*t) Now he is going on vacations with this woman having the time of his life.

I am working, trying to get my life together. I have health issues that I am trying to sort out which he knew about and still ripped my heart out. I know I shouldn't care and part of me doesn't, but part of me is like "why is he getting rewarded?" Ahhh! Anyone gone through a similar situation so I can get some advice?

Why should you care, you broke up right? Its not his fault that he found a good woman that he is compatible and that treats him well. You have nothing to do or say here, you have no control over him, guess what its over!l. I find it really funny when girls write these questions and then blame the guy for how well he is doing or because he found somebody better than her. You are clearly regretting what you did here and blaming your faults on him.

I really wish to see his side of the story as well, he will very likely say something similar as well. You call this woman "low quality" yet she seems to take care very good care of him, buys him stuff and takes him on vacation, a "low quality" girl, wouldn't have the money to do all of that. He is probably being a stand off because he is probably telling you unconsciously "hey look what I have!, I am clearly having the time of my life unlike when I was with you". This woman seems to be a good girlfriend for him, I am sorry to say this but a woman that buys sh*t to their boyfriend do it because they really like him.

I see right through your words, you are extremely frustrated because he found a better girlfriend than you and regret not being a good girlfriend when you were together.

Wow, someone was emotionally abused as a child :( A few things for you. His family called this woman "low quality." Not me. Vacations, money doesn't buy happiness. Just because someone spends a lot of money on someone doesn't mean sh*t. Look at Britney and K-Fed. However, I don't need to justify myself to you. Like you said, you don't know the whole story so don't be so quick to judge. But some good news for you! Jesus loves even a schmuck like yourself<3

He might be feeling rewarded, but the thing is, it'll catch up to him. Don't worry about the two of them, because its holding you back. Those vacations and stuff will only last but so long until she realizes she's just a tool to him. The fact is he treated you poorly... if not just down right disgustingly, but it'll be laid on you that you have to "woman up" and just move on. Take care of yourself, you'll find someone that can treat you properly and that you'll appreciate more.

OMG honey you are reading my mind. My ex started dating this woman who is rich ( a lot because of her ex husband) and now I am a piece of worthless crap which hurts because I was with him through 2bankrupcies and job less. I love him regardless. And this woman is paying for trips and I am left heartbroken. It is hard because he treated me like sh*t. It isn't fair but what is a person to do other than let it go. This woman is a piece of work herself, she has threaten me. Get your life together, I am working on that myself. Some people are just so shallow. In the end this guy will realize that money can't buy happiness.

i am going through the same thing right now. well my ex didn't find someone else but he's becoming really popular and he thinks he's so much better than everyone else and we went out for three years. just act like you don't care, just don't talk to him and give him a chance to miss you, and just know that if you're meant to be together it will happen. if he'd rather have this girl than he isn't worth it. eventually he will look back and regret what he did. I'm sure of it.

People try to tell you life is fair, that karma means he'll get his comeuppance somewhere down the line, or something like that.

But that's not true. We'd like it to be true. So we often tell ourselves it's true. That there's some sort of natural or divine justice in how the world works. But it's just not true.

Some of the wealthiest people in the world, with names you've never heard of, who live lives of unimaginable luxury and happiness, are some of the of most evil ruthless amoral assholes who have ever lived.

Some incredibly nice people will go hungry tonight. Nice families will lose their homes tomorrow.

Life is not fair. Stop expecting it to be, and maybe you won't be as frustrated with your situation and that of your ex.

I know, but in the end I am sure the wealthy people end up very lonely in life. Money cannot buy integrity and love. However, you're right. I just need to let it go and move forward. It's the only thing I can control.

Many people will disagree with me on this, but in life there are no rewards or punishments, just consequences. Many times jerks are rewarded simply because they are more willing to take advantage of opportunities that nice people wouldn't. It's that simple. Your frustration is totally understandable and I have been there. You sound intelligent and that's the most important thing anyway.

Yea, I just was raised to treat people the way you want to be treated. I try to remind myself that what comes around goes around, but hearing all that he is doing makes that saying seem dimmer to me.

My friend's boyfriend dumped her and immediately got into a relationship with someone else. He contracted herpes from his NEW girlfriend. KARMA DOES EXIST. hahaha ;D
