1. You must use heavier and heavier weights to make your ass bigger. Air squats or holding 10 lb weights do nothing.
2. Id suggest 5x5 meaning to 5 reps for 5 sets. And do it 2 or 3x per week. Thats all you need. More is not better.
3. Start light but add 5lbs every day. So day 1 squat the bar. Day 2 bar plus 5lbs. Day 3 bar with 10lbs. Etc.

if you train results arrives! But go to the gym 2 times a month for half hour is totally useless...
No it doesn't but if you work out your glutes, abs, back and add cardio and eat at a calorie deficit get toned and slimmer your glutes will appear larger because the fat in love handles is stubborn and you can't do workouts to just target that one area but once they're " gone... smaller" you're booty will appear more prominent

I'm not sure anyone has ever conducted a scientific study to test it. My opinion is yes and no. Squats primarily are a quadriceps (thigh muscle) workout. Your glutes (ass muscle) get secondary benefit but only if you squeeze your cheeks together at the top of the drive by pushing your hips forward. Despite the catchy hashtag of "squat booty", they aren't the best and if you're relying solely on squats to give you a fatter ass, you'll be disappointed. I find for the effort, lunges are probably a better bet than squats.
The best glute workouts, though, are centered around some form of hip extension. This can be from deadlifts where you push your hips forward at the top of the lift, or lifting your hips off the ground and squeezing your glutes. However, I think the best glute workout is the bent-over rear leg raise. Basically, hold onto something in front of you and bend over so your back is parallel to the ground. Lift one leg up behind you to at least 90 degrees but keep your leg straight. Do it this way, and it's a glute, hamstring, and ab workout (it's an even more difficult ab workout if you do it unassisted). The key is to get your leg to at least 90 degrees and keep your leg completely straight because that'll maximize the amount of work your ass has to do and if you do it slowly, then you increase time under tension. It also has the benefit of hitting the lower part of the butt. The main mistakes people make are not going to 90 degrees, stopping at around 60, and trying to add resistance by using a cable attached to weights. Skip the cable because it forces you to bend your leg and it prevents you from getting your leg up high, reducing the amount of work per rep.
If you really want to try something difficult and test your glute and ab strength, you can always try reverse hip raises on a flat bench. It's the same idea as the bent-over rear leg raise, but you lift both legs so you activate your entire butt and rely on your abs to stabilize you. Again, keep your legs straight and go to at least 90 degrees.
Anyways, I think I went off-topic but it gives you a more well-rounded ;) idea of what exercise alternatives there are out there instead of the almighty squat.
Yes, they do, but there are other exercises you can do, like lunges, hip thrusts.
There's also different muscles in the butt, like your glute medias, which is said to be the weakest muscle in the lower body, so you definitely want to work that too, as should help you with your bigger lifts and to get a more 'shaped-out' butt.
I'm not sure how often you can work your glutes, but I think you probably can work them more often than once a week, as they are important for posture and are the biggest and more powerful muscles in the body.
As for reps, it depends, I guess until failure, because intensity is what makes the muscle grow more, so I wouldn't just to light weight or just do heavy ones - focus on form and lift a weight you can manage and then work your way up.
Important point - make sure your stance is right and understand that sometimes, people have problems with mind-muscle connection, so you may sometimes need to do certain techniques or exercises to help active the muscles, before you go full on into it e. g. I think doing hip thrusts before squats can be good, because I do think you can naturally feel that in the glutes a bit more, which should wake them up, just make sure you're powering and driving through using your glutes, as it does primarily target the glutes.
Play around with the amount of reps, sets and exercises, to make your body responds and grows.
Squats will NOT get you a nice butt. Itâs a compound exercise, which mainly will activate your quads. You can do all the squads you want and still have inferior glutes. Any trainer or site that tells you to squat for a booty has no idea what theyâre talking about. For a good butt you gotta isolate muscle groups, hip thrusts, donkey kicks, side lunges, lateral band walks, single leg deadlift, etc use weights and or resistance bands. But if you wanna add a bit of volume you will have to use weights. How often is gonna depend on how intense your workouts will be and how sore you will be. Give your muscles enough time to recover.
They must do. I see a lot of women in my local gym doing squat exercises in the weights section, they are all very skinny but with big butts, they are all blondes for some reason and are constantly taking pics of themselves or getting their boyfriend/gay friend/brother to take videos of them squatting. Meanwhile the girls with little touches are upstairs on the treadmills.
I'm not going to tell you how many reps you should do but I will tell you to learn the various different exercises you can do with or without weights, what equipment to use and how to use it otherwise you will just waste your time and probably hurt yourself. There's technique to lifting weights. Find yourself a gym trainer or a guy you know that lifts or is a gym rat to instruct you. Even a female friend who workout and specifically targets her butt.
Honestly, I enjoy a woman who takes care of herself. A nice pair of yoga pants while doing your daily routines. Non creeper way, I will compliment a woman who looks great and toned.

If you want to focus on your butt, you need to stand with your legs wider than shoulder with and squat as low as possible.
If you stand with your legs closely, and do not sqaut low, it will be putting more strain on your quadriceps muscles.
Only if you do them right and there are other exercises like hip thrusts that work better for butt enhancements.
Although exercising can make a difference, donât expect to create a bubble butt if you donât naturally have one. Thats genetics. But you can make it rounder and firm even if itâs not the bubble butt.
Bubble butts can only be achieved 2 ways.

Surgery (aesthetically fake)
Flat or squared butts can become rounder and firmer which will appear slightly bigger with exercise but cannot really form that bubble butt.

If you have soft giggly butt, chances are it will get smaller and tighter. So it depend on your body. Are you doing this for fitness or to lose weight?
Squats are not the best exercise if you are solely focused on the booty. The gains you get would be balanced out by the gains of your quads and hamstrings. Your booty would be bigger but you wouldn't see it because your legs would grow in proportion. Lunges are a better exercise. However, squats do improve a lot of muscles. I would still do them, but add more lunges into your routine.
They help but deadlifts and hamstring curls especially will make it really big
I dont know for sure but I dont think so. I believe it works your calves lower back an legs more than anything.. Never been into weights just natural body resistance B. C. never wanted to be bigger just lean an cut... Damn graduated an never really ever seen my abs but now lifes half over I'm about in my prime
It's not your butt getting bigger, but your thigh muscles get larger, pushing the booty up and making it seem larger. The same happens with abdominal muscles and boobs. The butt itself is mostly fat so the only way for it to get bigger in the real sense of the word would be for you to accumulate fat, wich even may or may not end there
Body shape should be considered. You can have an inverted body shape do squats.. get a bigger butt but its shape isn't not going to be like an hourglass butt.
your lower butt, quads and thighs will tone up to raise you butt more and shape it. which can give the image of a bigger butt. but you won't really have a big butt presa.
Every body type is different. What worked on one girl may not work for you. Research different butt workouts is a good start but you may want to consult with a professional physical trainer.
No they don't make your butt bigger, what squats do is firm and tone the your butt, hip, and thigh areas. Other exercise need to be incorporated in your workout if you want a larger butt.
Squats work out your upper leg muscles if you do them correctly. Getting a more muscular form overall will make your butt seem bigger compared to the rest of your body, but the only way to get a naturally bigger butt is to get fat.
If you do them with weights and eat more of the right stuff yes... if you do them by themself then itâll probably make it smaller and more toned
