Cut pop completely out of your diet, even diet pops. If you drink juice a lot, try buying the light versions so they have significantly less sugar. Obviously also try to cut a lot of sweets out of your diet.. chocolate, jelly beans, etc. I can't really be specific on how many calories and carbs you should eat and whatnot.. but you could easily find that with a little research on workout/nutritional sites.
Then try to workout. Running or biking.. whether it's outdoors or on a treadmill/bike machine. Or even better, try to start a weight lifting program around 3 days a week. If you do the correct amount of sets and reps you won't have to worry about looking bulky or ripped like guys want.

do ab workouts, it will tighten your mid section even if you lost little to no weight. cardio is good but if you do bicycles and oblique v-ups your mid section will tighten up and will ultimately make you look sexier. those two exercises alone will work out your entire mid section so you don't need to worry about doing a crapload of exercises for one result. if you do not know how to do those exercises google them, you will most likely find great results or look on youtube for even better demonstrations. good luck, I am currently working on my weight and muscular physique as well
do more exercises that target the areas you want to lose fat in but try not to exercise where you do not need as much work.

I think pouch stomachs are cute, but I sympathize. Do cardio, like fast walk/jog, or ride an excersise bike. Also, do you do crunches? What most people don't realize is they work your UPPER abs but you need to work your lower abs too. Sit in a chair, keep your back pressed against it N crunch your knees up toward your chest. Also, you're at an age where some of that will redistribute pretty soon N become more flattering muscle tone. I wish you luck...

Cardio. Cycling, jogging but also do core exercises like crunches.
You can't just lose weight in one area.
Do Hula Hoop exercise.
