Baggy pants to skinny jeans.

I don't understand the generation we are in currently, a lot of men I see like to where there pants below the butt and think that shirts that are 2 times bigger than they are is good looking.

The same goes for men who wear shirts waaay too tight and jeans that squeeze the life out of their balls. Why? Is it just becuase its part of that crowd"?

In my mind somebody who is dressed nice (casual) would be like a fitted shirt, nice jeans also fitted and maybe some converses or Evisu's. I don't know maybe its just me, am I wrong?

Since its an opinion question you can't be wrong unless you've falsely stated your own opinion lol I don't like the current fashion either I really don't like skinny jeans on men or women and for the life of me I can't understand how they should fit. I am 5'4 115 lbs but I have muscular legs and a small waist I end up struggling with the legs and the waist just hanging so I end up magically wearing a tight pair of baggy pants. Which is just confusing to me lol Oh I miss bootcut pants *sigh*. I like casual on men, relaxed but not hanging off. I honestly even prefer when men don't dress up I like jeans and t-shirts but I think people look the best when they wear what feels right for them, the style that suits them and forget fashion altogether. So some people do suit skinny pants because that's what they love and feel confident in, I just won't be wearing them or half-wearing them as the case is.

Well I can't can you? I understand some styles but not those, not because they don't conform to what my idea of good looking fashion should be, just plain common sense.

What do you mean common sense? The baggy pants stuff takes itself out of african clothing, with long, thick drawn robes and layers panning out over each other, and skinny jeans go back way back, probably to leggings, which were like, one of the earliest pieces of clothing that have stayed prominent throughout all of history. That's just where the art behind it draws its inspiration, the appeal stems to the individual.

I can. I wear skinny jeans all the time, hahaha. Skinnies or tights, always.

Actually that's not true at all, the whole idea of baggy pants came from prison, they would sag there pants so that a male could come up from behind and gain quick and easy access to the other males behind.

And so that itself does not make sense.

My point is that they all have reasons but despite that, any reasons become purely material because that's not what its about. As such, its only down to style, although there is meaning behind it. You know? I don't believe common sense factors.

Well I think that is where you and I can agree to disagree. Its just the way you think and the way I think at the end of the day, I just personally see the whole idea as idiotical and ridiculous. I respect peoples ways to live their life and wear what they will but that doesn't mean I have to see it as right or "intellignet".
