What does one say to a man with no conscience?

I do go to this community college here in Az but there are many girls that go to this school. Many of them are my frens but there is this one girl that tends to smile at me from time to time but she says nothing at all when I see her.. Now you see when she smiles smiles so seductivly and when she smiles it brightens up my day. But deep down inside I want to ask her out but I can't do that. Because I am afraid that she might reject me for how I look... If not she might not just be interested as well. So how do I go about this situation that I am in? So what is she looking for or what does she want? I need all the help that can get.. Point me in the right direction...

Talk to her at night, like at a bar or cocktail party, some social gathering that is not too loud. Very soon into the conversation ask her straight out what kind of men turn her on. She will tell you if it is super skinny guys or macho army guys or tattooed rockers. If she says no comment or I'd rather not say then that might mean you. If she gets defensive and says she is off guys right now then you know your answer and you didn't have to get hurt by rejection to learn it.
