Is he playing games with me?

I met a guy- he is shy, sensitive and the last time he was in a serious relationship was about 4 years ago (but has had a few hookups during this time but nothing serious). His last serious girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend and he was hurt really badly and says that he is afraid. This guy and I have been hanging out and hooking up for a few months now. I want him to commit to me but he says he doesn't know what he wants. He says he needs to figure out what his best for him and where I best fit in his life: friend or girlfriend. Is he playing games with me, is he not that into me or is he really afraid? If he is really afraid, what can I do to make him not be so afraid?

Im sorry but if he says he doesn't know what he wants, it means its not you he wants. Right now. It could be because he is afraid or it could be he just doesn't know if his feelings for you are strong enough. Usually its the last since all these "afraid" men suddenly commit very fast when they find the right woman. You can try to build the attraction between you, be fun, not so serious, little mysterious..let him think you're not sure what you want either. Try not to worry about what's going to happen between you 2. That's the only thing you can do.

one more thing - whatever you do- do NOT try to convince him that your a good woman by being nice, supportive and "mom like". Nothing will make him run faster.
