LOL I'm gonna sound like such a hypocrite because I actually do have a weight problem but yeah it is getting out of hand and I agree with you. I'm trying to make healthier choices and it's crazy how I can go out with friends and order like a dinner salad and someone will be like "why don't you have any meat? are you trying to go vegetarian on us?" or how people who are like 240 pounds are getting lap band surgeries. they aren't super obese where they can't lose weight, its just seen as the quicker choice.
when I was in school there was maybe 2 or 3 fat kids in the whole grade, now every other kid these days are fat.

Yes. Little kids don't even go outside anymore. They sit inside all day and play video games... Our society, at least in the United States, has become one of instant gratification involving as little work as possible. I get really pissed at parents when I see overweight/obese children. You're raising a kid who's bound to be teased and die at 30 of a heart attack.
Legitimately overweight/obese people sans a real medical condition are nothing but lazy. Exercising and eating healthily benefits your body AND mind.
I don't see why I need to be worried. People are in control of themselves just like I'm in control of myself. Now if you're meaning do I think there should be awareness and education about obesity? Then yes. But should I be up doing this or that because of it? No, it doesn't affect me and I'm not in control of overweight or obese people.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm not the most active person, I've got a little more pudge than I should, but when people actually have a couple feet of fat hanging over their belt line it's just kind of like dude, take care of yourself.

Yes. It bothers me as well. I'm not a perfect size 2 but I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I walk as much as I can and eat lots of fresh veggies. Fast food and lack of excercise only leads to bad health and obesity if you're lucky. That mess can kill you too.
I think the environment also has a part to play. for example, servings (of food) in the US is twice the size of servings where I am. A few of my friends who've been to the US on exchange put on lots of weight there though they do lose it quite quickly after they've come back.
I'm not worried. You can't CATCH obesity, it's a result of poor diet and little exercise (I'm excluding medical illnesses that can cause it.)
If people are stupid enough to put their health at risk by being glutton and lazy I don't see why I should be worried by it. It's great that idiots end up obese because 1) it increases their chances of dying before they can procreate 2) it will remove their genes from the gene pool and 2) decrease the birth rate.
All win-win in my opinion. Its because kids use to exercise, now their Sims do it for them.
I agree! I mean, I'm not perfect by any means, but I really try and take the best care of my self that I can. And I just hate that people don't care.. It's kind of depressing really.
Just gotta watch they all time their jumping jacks sensibly or we'll have another earthquake.
Why does it worry me? It doesn't affect me, personally.
