Is insanity for weight loss?

I recently purchased the insanity extreme workout DVDs and I'm losing weight! I bought it to become more defined while I'm cycling off from creatine , But I just want to become ripped. I'm already skinny, what do I do?

Insanity is much more cardio intensive than p90x, so you could say its more for weight loss than p90x, however getting "ripped" as you call it is nothing more than eroding away the layer of fat that keeps the muscles you already have from being more defined. It will not add size because it doesn't involve the kind of resistance training regimen needed for that. That's what p90x classic is for.

You don't need to "cycle off creatine". You can just stop cold turkey. It is a very safe substance that doesn't really have lasting physiologic effects.

triple the normal calorie intake so that you aren't burning what muscle you have.

Yeah it's for weight loss and getting toned. If you want to be ripped you should do P90X.
