All types of Diabetes, while not terminal they are life changing life long conditions, with expensive treatments, which some people in countries without free healthcare simply can't afford. Curing this wouldn't change population growth either, unlike choosing a terminal condition that would increase preasure on global population rates which are already in crisis.

Cancer. It’s cliche, but it can pop up anywhere in the body, effect anyone at any age for any reason and your life is basically over. Even if you go into remission, it could still return at any time in the future more aggressively. It’s so insidious it doesn’t even act like a normal disease.

Personally and I know this sounds selfish but I'd cure rheumatoid arthritis for myself and anyone else suffering from it. It's a very misunderstood illness and it effects the whole body joints organs everything
