I just train super hard when no one notices and I don't eat that much when no one notices. My body is composed almost entirely of bulkier fast-twitch muscles which makes me suitable for expending large amounts of energy in very short periods of time. But I'm the worst distance runner.

I also don't have a heavy upper-body config. All my power is in the lower body and core. My upper body muscles are small and weak in comparison. I've been working on it recently like so:

...
...
...
... but I think that helps me stay light and springy and bouncy throughout the day even though I barely ever work out and drink a lot and eat a lot. My lower body keeps me springy on my feet throughout the day. For example, I never walk to the store. I sprint to the store. Then I get groceries and sprint fast. I don't have the patience to walk like ordinary people. - +1 y
Also even though I barely exercise, I do things in my spare time for fun like handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, backflips, climbing trees, arm wrestling, etc. I have ways to burn lots of calories throughout the day even when I'm not working out.

Also trained in various martial arts growing up and mainly boxing and later kickboxing. I don't train seriously anymore but I do shadow-boxing and heavy bag for fun. Jab-jab-jab! Footwork! Circle. Jab-jab-jab, lower left hook, right hook, left uppercut, right hook! Knockout! TKO! Then dance around. Then circle around my room again -- jab-jab-jab! Jab-jab-hook! Jab-jab-kick! Teep! Hook kick! Jab-jab-jab.

Climbing trees? Are you some kind of monkey lol?

@random_girl95 I just enjoy it a lot! I'm kind of like a little kid still. I like to reach up and see if I can jump high enough to touch when I see something high and climb poles and ropes and trees. I also see if I can swim to an island on the horizon. I kind of like to challenge myself every day if I spot something I can do as a challenge. Also when I take bath, hold breath as long as I can! Repeat.

@random_girl95 I also love dancing even though it is not always considered macho. If I hear music I like to dance a lot.

Impressing for sure

What kind of dance?

@random_girl95 I used to be a shuffler and sometimes still mix in shuffling but I also do some weird improvisational stuff (just when I'm in my room) with punching and kicking from martial arts. :-D It'd be so embarrassing if someone saw that but, you know, it burns energy!

@random_girl95 One thing I might do differently from most people is that I don't like cardio but I do things that might be considered pseudo-cardio like dashing up and down the stairs, running up hills with a weighted vest, etc. But I don't seek to get my heart pounding or legs exploding so much even though I sometimes reach that point. I'm mostly trying to make my body more skillful and stronger. So I tend to make most of my motions anaerobic or pseudo-anaerobic rather than aerobic.

[or lungs exploding, sorry]

Personally I find nothing wrong with dancing in a freedtyle as long as you feel better after it and your mood is better then I recommend dancing every day lol

@random_girl95 I love dancing in stupid ways! I like songs like this:

It burns a lot of energy with the way I dance to it. :-D - +1 y
Fascinating. Are you some kind of trainer because you certainly seem to know so many details and stuff about workout and different methods?

@random_girl95 No, I wish. Maybe in a different life. I used to run an amateur fitness channel advertising it like, "Here is a fitness channel from someone who is lazy, has a sedentary job, and a borderline alcoholic." Then I focused all on psychology and very little on any specific type of nutrition or training. Wasn't very successful. I got to 2k subscribers or so until I felt like I don't know what I'm talking about.
Mostly I just wanted to motivate people with the idea that weight loss shouldn't require much willpower. My primary message was, "Don't change your lifestyle too fast, too hard, that you feel like you have to force yourself to stick to it. Change it slowly enough that you get used to it, love it."
You know, "slow and steady wins the race," but I hear the weight loss community using that incorrectly in terms of how many pounds they should lose in a week or month. Who cares how little or how many pounds are lost? To me slow and steady is about lifestyle. Let the weight take care of itself but don't change the lifestyle too quickly. - +1 y
@random_girl95 ... but keep changing it, keep improving it, little-by-little. I think that sets us up for life.

Wow nicely said. I like how it seems that you speak out of experience concerning weight loss and also I understand how energetic you are by responding in such essay style messages lol.

@random_girl95 I'm a little bit hyper. But what motivated me to get all into trying to coach people even though I'm far from a nutritionist or PT is that I watched this show called The Biggest Loser together with my wife. Then I was so inspired by their transformations; I was cheering and rooting for the contestants so much and was so surprised to see their final transformation.
But then I got the most depressing news that most of the contestants regained their weight and then some after the show ended, and discovered the show encouraged horrible things like training them to exhaustion and encouraging dehydration strategies similar to MMA fighters and boxers and wrestlers as well as eating a measly 1200 calories/day... completely unsustainable!
So I became so angry and upset and started that channel trying to encourage a more long-term strategy... slower but sustainable. - +1 y
@highlyvolatile It's true that in reality shows they are showing partially what the contestants actually go through, as don't forget it's a show so they want publicity. I am referring to a reality show of any topic. So it's better not to be over hyped by it as it's not 100% authentic.

@random_girl95 I made the mistake of buying too much into it before, at least the transformation and its long-term effects. But sometimes I think the fitness industry in general advertises shortcuts when people might benefit most from small tweaks they can sustain... air-fried chicken or fried chicken, dark chocolate over milky, lettuce-wrapped burgers over burgers in buns, black coffee over coffee with sugar and cream... whatever they can handle and enjoy at their own pace. Tweak tweak tweak! Just try to be slightly better this week/month than the previous.

@highlyvolatileI agree with you. You don't necessarily need to buy all the stuff they advertise to loose weight nor you need to spend so much money in slimming programmes. It's the simple stuff that has value, the more natural are the products you eat or use the best for your body and organism

A person's metabolism is constantly moving. And you want to eat everything in sight. It is called self-control. And you go back to work out again. Working out can be an addiction.

Those type of dudes are taking PEDs and/or STEROIDS. Or they're eating such little amount of food that they keep their abs all year but destroy their health.
