When it comes to exercise , be fit and develop muscle, How many times you have to work out your body?

I mean I know there are many group muscles in your body. But I have heard that the different type of msucles need to be worked in an isolated way, each group muscle at different time or a different day as it is more effective or it is more effective if you lets say work all the group muscles at the same time in one routine only, done every other day.

So lets say if you work the muscles in an isolated way, to see results and really work all your body group muscles, how many times in a week for instance you have to work the abs, your legs, your body, your upper body, your inner body. One example, this is just an example, lets say abs 2 times a week, upper body 2 times a week, booty or legs 2 times a week and one day rest, as rest is super important.

When I mean develop muscle I mean not in a way to look like a body builder but to build muscle at least look fit if you are a woman, not looking like a monster either.
