What do you do to make yourself feel better when you are a bit down? Also how do you stop from feeling a but down?

I felt a bit not depro but not happy today. And I am not sure what brought it on maybe hormones or stress but I was a bit out of myself today. So I gymed and i listened to music and sang along a bit. Now I am feeling content and happy still stressed but happy. So what do you do to cheer yourself up? And what usually brings you down?
