How to get acclimated to lifting weights quickly?

I have not lifted since COVID started. I finally bought a home gym.

I plan to do the candito 6 week program.

The problem is that I already know from previous experience, that I will be so insanely sore specifically on the squat/DL day, that I won't be able to squat again for at least 10 days.

What I'm thinking of doing is just doing week 1 of the program, and only doing 1 or 2 sets. And then doing 3 sets the week after, and the entire program correctly on the the 3rd or 4th week.

Is there any other way to do it though?
