I've noticed that a male friend of mine gets really moody/a bit angry if he's not been to the gym for a few days. Why is this? The rest of the time he's a really nice guy.
A lot of guys use working out as a way to relieve stress. Also if someone who is health conscious and goes to the gym a lot but can't for a couple of days then they tend to feel bad about themselves as well as guilty which usually leads to bad mood swings.

Exercise uses up the bodies stress hormones, if he doesn't find a way to release them then they build up and the person gets more tense.
