I want braces? help

My TOP teeth are Perfect straight. But my bottom front 5 are messed up. Kind of badly but not to bad. Some are curved a bit. Is there a way to fix just that?

How long should it take to have braces just on the bottoms row?

I find the crooked teeth are really unattractive. You definitely should get braces whilst your young - your teeth will move/straighten quicker than they when you're older. It will usually take about a year and a half. Although it does depend on the person.. when I had my teeth in braces it was only on for a year and 2 months. My friend had her braces on for almost 2 years! I know you only want your bottom row done, but your dentist will encourage you to get both top and bottom done aswell only because when your bottom teeth move, you may need to adjust the top teeth to match your bottom row - so when you bite down, the back teeth align to each other.

Make it part of your style, don't get braces unless you want to look like you are 14. Look at some people who have less than perfect teeth and it just becomes part of their sex appeal. For instance, David Bowie and Perry Farrell from Janes Addiction, Don't do it

Not in Canada when my family has free healthcare they won't do it unless it's really bad... ._.

Maybe they do, do it if you have the money in USA? (:
