If I quit smoking but I used to smoke and vape, do I even have the rights to not want a woman that smokes or vapes?

This is something I've been asking myself for a while now cause personally I don't feel like I got the rights considering I fell down that path at some point in my life as well, the only difference is that woman is still going through it, so what are your opinions?

Good for you man... I was a chain smoker, quit for a year, got back to smoking because of some bullshit, but I feel like switching to vape has saved my life so far. I would like to quit completely though. Now I'm like a chain vaper. I have 3 vapes in front of me now... multiple because I doint want to burn the coils out too fast. When I say chain smoking when I was smoking tobacco it wasn't cigarettes... straight up cigars only. At this point though someone smokes a cigarette down the street and that shit fucking stinks.

How'd you quit? I was only able to quit for a year by becoming a full-blown alcoholic.

Of course you have that right. Even when you still smoked you had that right. Being a smoker or ex-smoker is irrelevant to whether you want a partner who doesn't smoke. The reasons for wanting a non-smoker don't change in any way.

Because smoking is pretty negative. You knew that even when you still smoked. Virtually all smokers consider it a negative. Being with a non-smoker can give smokers additional motivation to quit. That was actually a minor factor when I quit. I felt that I would have more to offer a partner if I quit.

Yea, children are a big issue when you smoke. My Father smoked a pipe, but gave it up. Neither of my parents drank more than very social drinking - like one drink with friends.

You certainly do!! Dad used to smoke, too but, not long after we got him to quit, he didn't want to be anywhere NEAR cigarettes, anymore!! He smoked 40 years! After he quit, cigarettes stunk to high heavens, to him!!
