I have this and a whole bunch of shit more in my bedroom. Now let us think about the money. I ended up looking like me.

On top of that and all the wet vaginas, I have dropping on my balls... I have been able to lift whenever I want, the hours are not limited, I'm allowed to grunt without being called names, and it's just all me. How much $$$ you think I spent to get this shit in my bedroom, and then do the math and how much some fucker that might get in 3 nights a week spent over 3 years for just a portion of what I get to do whatever I want, whenever I want.
I've calculated it. I've spent what one of those dudes have spent for 3 years of getting to use some stuff with rules and time limits. Okay... less than most of you spent on your first car. It just makes sense to go home gym if you really want it to be something you do for life.
That really depends on what you do for exercise. I prefer to work out at home. I mostly do yoga which requires little space and equipment (mat//blocks). So, to go to a gym for that would be pointless for me. We also have a rowing machine and weights (husband uses those mostly).
So, I can get a good workout in the comfort of my own place and right into the shower after. I don't have any travel stress trying to get to the gym in a big city, nor do I have to wait for machines to be free. I vote home.
Now, the problem is that if you like a certain type of exercise that is not possible at home. Take swimming for example. It is low impact and a great full body workout. I love to swim. Problem is... you need a pool for that.
Even if you had a decent sized home pool, can you use it year round? What if it is raining? Do you just not work out then? So, really depends on the type of exercise you are into that might force you to go to the gym.
Both are good, but it depends on what you're looking for as equipment. I just stay at home since all I do is go for walks, lift weights for my arms, and do lunges for my legs. If you want more of a harder workout, then you could go to the gym. If light workout, then you could probably stay home.
During covid my gym was closed so I set up a gym in my house. At first I just had a weight set and a bench but I bought a Total Gym. It really gave a good workout and was easy on my joints. I did go back to the gym and it is a better workout.

This is my bedroom setup but I use a numbered gymnastic strap instead of the chain. I do 30 seconds of 3x sets of upright row, dead-lift, bicep curl, shoulder press, behind the back shrugs, tricep extensions and seated row. You can build just as much muscle with this as you can with dynamic lifts but you build more tendon strength and it's safer. You need longer holds to build muscle in order to recruit the fibres. If the commercial one is too expensive, you can build your own one and use a lat pull-down handle.
As long as you have all the necessary equipment, a home gym is better, and for multiple reasons, as long as you have the essentials (squat rack, bench, barbell, and plates).
-don't have to wait for equipment to become available.
-squat racks in the gym either dont have safety arms, or the safety arms are at a fixed height.
-a home gym you can put the bench in the squat rack and use the safety arms, so no need for a spotter.
-save on travel costs.
-not limited by gym hours.
-not having to change into gym attire.
There are some benefits to a public gym though.
-place to make new friends.
-some gyms have a supplement store within, or nearby.
-more equipment to choose from, especially machines.
home. you don't have to deal with annoying tiktok girls creepily video taping you claiming that you were the creep when you didn't even glance in their direction.
I prefer my home gym, then women aren't always hitting on me and checking me out!
Sorry, trying to keep a straight face while typing this...😜😂
Probably a Gym But One can Lose as Well at Home. Walking is Very Good. Welcome to Gag Town and Best of Luck. xx
I have only used a gym twice at a hotel! I don’t like them. They’re nasty and stinky. I use outdoors and my home gym.
If you exercise at home, your carpet would retain a lot of the sweat and start stinking, and your house would feel very stuffy, whereas if you did it in the gym, you can keep the sweat in the gym instead, take a shower then come back home.
I have a home gym, but I still go to the public gym to swim.
Exercising at home is cheaper... and there are more options to watch.
Depends on who you are, what conditions you have at home and at the gym and on your knowledge of working out.
Nuanced answer I know, but is true.
At home. Just give me a big set of drums and I'm fine!!
I prefer at home. I‘ve seen people’s…. habits at the gym. 🤢
Whereever you can get the job done, if your fortunate to have a full gym for a man, great. If not take your ass to the gym or do calistenics
Man to man it’s best to just exercise at home
I prefer the gym for more specialised equipment
The gym to many distractions at home.
Both are very good
Home too much toxic masculinity at the gym.
Whichever you can stay motivated at
In nature.
