Primarily I work out at home and outdoors being a calisthenics type and sprinter. I like to attack my body from a wide variety of angles and thing the outdoors especially provide the versatile environment.
So I don't just do pull-ups on pull-up bars, for example. I do them from swing frames, square wooden frames, tree branches, tall frames from which I hang a towel, gymnastic rings suspended from anything I can, etc. I don't sprint on treadmills; I do on pavement, roads, grass, sand, uphills, downhills, stairs, etc. I really believe the changes in environment help to recruit different muscle groups and maximally engage stabilizers.
The main weakness I find with calisthenics is that it's difficult to find any way to resist substantially more than our body weight. I use a weighted vest and resistance bands sometimes to add more resistance to calisthenics motions but we can't generally get to double or more our bodyweight in resistance. It also requires some creativity for progressive overload although I usually find ways to do it with each motion.
So that's when I take occasional trips to the gym and solely for heavy lifts (benchpress, overhead press, barbell rows, squats, and deadlifts). I'm far from a powerlifter but I mainly use heavy lifts to identify and strengthen my weak points.
At home! They never have drums in any of the gyms!
At home. I have the treadmill, rowing machine, pull up bar and the flexible bench, to do all of the workouts for my body type. I also bought different weight of dumbbells and kettlebells. I don’t like going to the gym because I am someone who values time a lot. I could save like two hours by working out at home. The equipments might cost a lot at first, but paying for the membership is more expensive in a long run. I am planning to buy more soon.
Definitely the gym. The environment gets me pumped up, and keeps me motivated and focused on my workout. When I workout at home, I get distracted or I lose effort and end up doing something else. Working out at home is good for some specific workouts, but for the most part, I enjoy the gym more.

Its a lot better to work out at the gym becouse you have many more options with exercises. Very few people Can aford a good gym at home.
But if you dont really wanna build muscles, just lose some weight its probably better to save money and time and just work out at home.
the gym, you have way more equipement and personally feel more pressure to do perfect forms, work out more & harder because of the people around.
At home. But I like jogging outdoors as well. In the gym, I feel like I have to do perfect and everyone is watching me. Once, the instructor laughed the way I run. it was so embarrassing lol
I’d rather work out at home. Would prefer women not do squats directly in front of me and expect me not to look then call me a pervert for looking or a sexist for looking anywhere else. I’d rather just work out at home
I do have a gym at home. Treadmill, Pro Bike, Special bag for Hard Punches and kicks and old fashioned weights and bench.
I like to work out at home I never lose much weight using equipment at the gym. Doing cardio at home works much better.
At the gym but most of my exercise comes from work.
Im more motivated when at the gym but i mostly work out at home
Gym has better equipment, although I work everywhere when I can. At home, hotel, beach, ...
these days i prefer doing it at home... can't stand the attention seekers anymore. male and female.
Everything you can do at a gym, you can do at home and for FREE.
Home is more convenient for me since I mainly do calisthenics & have enough weights to isolate certain muscle groups I want to grow more.
