What do u like to do to deal with this?
With darker months coming up, what are some great ways to beat the depression that comes with it?

Stay busy. Stay active. I once heard happiness is three things. Someone to love. Something to do. And something to look forward too. Sounds simple. Slightly more difficult in practice.
I like to decorate the house. Take on projects. I'll read. Watch movies. I'll vary up my routine.
I hate the winter time period , I don’t see anything good about it to be honest , I hate the cold weather and I don’t give 2 shits about snow , It can look pretty sometimes but that’s about it , I can so live without it , I heard this winter is supposed to be bad , so I am not looking forward to it what so ever and sadly this Summer didn’t feel like Summer to me what so ever where I live , so that’s why a big part of me just wants to pack up my shit and move somewhere warmer and start over and put this shit hole area behind me , Give me more Sun any day I rather sweat my ass off then to freeze my ass off to be honest. You can shove you Pumpkin spice lattes up your ass for all I care, give me a Margarita on a beach and I would be happy as all hell. Fuck the winter time , most depressing time of the year for me , It’s usually the time I turn into a bear and drink my face off so I don’t have to think about it much , that’s what gets me through and sex as well
The darker months actually do the total opposite for me. I'm less depressed in the fall and winter than I am in the summer and spring. But I would say to answer your question, try to find different hobbies that can distract you from the depression.

It's possible the lack of vitamin D is the issue so supplementing with that will help.
Do your best to stay active, and don't spend too much time alone.
