Maybe a weird question.
But I wanna know can you lift and carry someone for a fairly time (about 10 seconds) and in these methods?
I have a experience that one of my classmates who was 58 kilograms (about 18kg lighter than me, lifted and carried me for about 40 seconds!!(In piggyback method)
Is it strange or many people can do that?
We were trained to do that in our early military training days, that's a crucial part because you need to carry an injured mate and walk for maybe hours to reach back to safety
It's usually the so called Fireman carry or shoulder carry or alternating between them
With right technique, you can make it less stressful on your body but nonetheless you need to be really strong for that!
If it's about carrying your SO, then I think Piggyback or cradle is a good idea LOL

I was able to lift my friend that is around 135 pounds and I’m around 145. We are the same height. I honestly struggled picking her up and it reminded me of when I’ve done deadlifts in the gym. She is around the max of what I’m able to pick up. If she was on my back it would’ve been easier.
fireman carry, i powerlift, but being short have a low center of gravity as well.
I can carry my brother on my shoulders. He was around 90 kg, i was around 80 kg back then.
The carry is not the problem, picking and lifting the dead body from the ground up is tough.
