Weight gain and memory loss from antidepressants and antipsychotics?

Hi, I gained 15 kg (33 lbs) in a year. I am taking lexapro, mirtazepine and aripiprazole. I also struggle with memory impairment since I've taken these. Those of you who have experienced similar side effects, could you please tell me if things are going to get better once I quit medication? Thank you!

Weight gain and memory loss are common side-effects of anti-peychotics, bit if you stop taking your meds you will go back to the behaviors that made them decide to medicate you.

i know antidepressants can definitely cause weight gain. i've never heard of memory loss due to it but it's possible

We didn't talk much about the memory loss but regarding the weight gain he said that those kilos weren't mine and that i will be thin again once we stop the treatment. I stopped taling mirtazepine for a few months and haven't noticed any diffrence. I told my doctor and he said that i will have to quit eating sweets (i did quit them since mirtazepine increseased my apppetite) and do sports so i am a little bit confused
