Is there a reason all births aren't done via C-section?

C sections are a risk to mother and babies health. People that are born c section are more likely to suffer illnesses long term because they never got the antibodies from coming through the vagina. Bad for their lungs and the baby is less likely to breastfeed.

Also it's extremely hard to recover from compared to a natural delivery. If the mom is already in bad health during labor it's adding more risks to something risky. I had pre eclampsia and I remember they told me absolutely no c section and that i will push the baby out even if I'm dead. I signed some papers consenting to keep me breathing on monitors in case that happened 😆

are you kidding me? do you not know how much recovery you have to do after a C section? they are literally cutting so deep, into the actual womb. way worse than natural delivery.

My sister was frustrated at her inability to move just to take care of her baby. Also, a C-section is still classified as a major surgery. It’s ridiculous that they expect you to deal with the pain with over-the-counter medications.

Also, you’re a man. This is something you could never imagine or experience. My mother almost bled to death after having my sister via C-section. Therefore, don’t you dare assume C-sections are “easier” or “safer” when you’ll never experience childbirth.

As I said above, a C-section is in no way the “safer” or “easier” option. It is a last resort in an emergency situation. It is a literal surgery that takes months of recovery. No woman wants that. Trust me. To educate yourself on this, pull up a YouTube video that shows you what a C-section is actually like. After you watch it, share it with your friends who wished they’d had a C-section.
