For reference I'm 5'3 and over 250lbs.
How to lose more weight with injured foot?
For reference I'm 5'3 and over 250lbs.
With only 800 calories you've probably gone into starvation mode where you're body is canibalizing muscle to get the nutrients it needs. Up it to a balanced 1100-1300 and you'll probably lose more. Plenty of cardio you can still do depending on your injury. Walking on crutches is stil better than just sitting on the couch. You can do upper body only rows on a rowing machine if you need to, but that is certainly great cardio. Hand bike would work as well or weighed simulated jump rope (there's no rope, just the swingy weight balls)
Ok thanks. Didn't realize that about starvation mode. I will up it and try those workouts.
Gotta be from good clean food though. Don't add 400 calories of Twinkies ;)
Lol definitely not. I meal prep all my food. So adding 400 calories of healthy foods won't be a problem. :)
I don't like giving weight loss advice... probably because I'm a zealous fan of larger women... but obviously you'll be better off sticking to exercises that don't put weight on your feet. Probably sit-ups or something.
Live on black coffee and green smoothies for a few months. It isn't difficult. I mean if I can do it, anyone can.
Ok. I can do that! Thanks!
It's also important to remember that high deficits actually insite a "starving" response where your body tries to retain more calories of food. It's finding the balance between eating less calories then you consume daily but not too less that your body believes it needs to go into this starvation mode.
Just a thought.
Ok I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
Forget fad diets as you cannot keep them up indefinitely. Just count cals. Go for low fat products. Limit fresh fruit drinks like orange. It is full of fructose, which is a form of sugar.
Math...3,500 cals is about 1 lb in weight. So reduce your intake by 500 a day will lose roughly 1 lb in a week.
Ok thank you!
Well done so far. 28 lbs is brill weight loss
Thanks!
by the way, keep weiight loss to no more than 3lb per week.
Ok I will do that! Thanks again!

Continue Your Diet As You Want and Get Up and Walk A Bit, Even If It Is Helping to Use the Other No Injured Foot. Get Well Soon. xxoo
Thank you! I will do just that!
I will! Thanks again!
You can still train your core and upper body. If you do long rep series, that is also cardio. And extra muscle helps burning fat.
Oh ok thanks!
having caloric deficite is enough. tho it is advisable to still eat a nutritionally balanced and healthy diet. or else you'll get urges that may overpower your determination to lose weight.
Ok thanks!
OH! also super important: don't avoid fat. carbs are like sugar metabolically speaking. sugar makes it harder for your body to access fat storage for fuel because the processes in the metabolism that are trying to split up sugars to store them into the fat cells have higher priority than the processes that can get the fat back out to burn it.
Ok thanks again!
so if you also consume a healthy ammount of fat, you'll deal with less of the urges and you lose weight more effectively. most effective is doing a keto diet but that is not sustainable long term and probably not all that healthy.
Currently doing keto now and its not that bad. I think I could do it for a long time.
The diet should help
Oh ok. Thanks.
I didn't need to do anything more and I lost weight
Oh ok. That's good to know!
